Colorspace

Colorspace assign palette pieces to positions on the screen. Similar to TileSets, Colorspaces divide up the field in a grid-like fashion, into elements called cells. Each cell has its own palette, or some piece of the palette, and is only allowed to use those colors within the cell.

Colorspaces, generally speaking, do not provide additional expressive power. Rather, they help to accurately immitate how retro graphics work. Such restrictions that may lead to inspiration or perhaps a feeling of authenticity for those seeking it.

Effects that color cycle only part of the scene at a time can be simplified by employing colorspaces.
